The best picks
Anonymous 25.02.2014
Many years, I played the jazz II from Dunlop. I liked the high durability and the pointy end of them, which lets you play very precisely.
At one point, I wanted to play bigger picks, but I never got comfortable with the wedge-formed regular picks and the softer tortex material.
I found the Ultex Sharps and even if I sometimes try others, I always come back to them.
They last longer, are nice to play and have a great sound. Due to the hardness they add more highs to the tone.
I even use them for acoustic guitars and even with older strings, this combination still sounds good.

RG
Best Bass picks

I tried several picks and this is the one I prefer for Bass for a smooth sound. The only problem is that being a transparent sort of beige, it's difficult to find if you drop it.

J
Pick with good grip and very nice and clear sound
JanOndra 11.10.2017
I do not know from which material is this pick made of, but it has really good grip and very clear, concrete and loud sound compare to other picks.
Material is very resistant as well so you could use one pick for a long time (until you lost it)

A legjobb a gyári penget?k között. Tartós, minimális penget?zaj, konkrét, meleg hang. Érzetre nagyon közel van a tekn?c penget?khöz. A felület is jó, egyáltalán nem csúszik.

Thought I'd try something different.
griller 03.01.2018
I thought I'd give these a try. not my usual texture or thickness. But I'm pleased with how they feel and play. The grip is surprisingly secure as they are very smooth.

Sound great, give them a try!
Anonymous 22.06.2016
As a professional Guitarist and composer for film and TV I am all about having the best tools for the job. I have a fender custom shop 1954 strat and a Les Paul and i am considering a 9 string (i know right!)

It's my job to be versatile in all genres of music - from the most crushing film trailer style metal to shredding to blues and Motown and i have fallen in love with these picks.

They just do it all! The attack on them is so clean your guitar sounds like a different animal. They feel great in the hand and because of the size i doubt you will be losing them mid gig.

because the Ultex material that they are made out of is so hard they can make a sharper tip for these hence why i go for the 2.0mm. To some this may seem like a large size but the shaping of these plectrums makes them feel normal.

The ultex makes the last for ages before they become blunt and i regularly use the same pick for months at a time.

The only gripe i have with these is the colour - would be great in black. When you drop them they are difficult to find because they are almost completely transparent - just buy loads to cover yourself as picks then to walk off when you aren't looking.

Because they last so long it works out to be pretty cost effective. I used to use Jazz 3s for years but they are so squidgy i would just dent them or wear them down crazy fast. these last for ages as long as you don't loose them.

Pros:
Last for ages
Sound great
Good price

Cons:
Look terrible - need a different colour!

For slaves to the Jazz 3 - try these. They also do them in Jazz 3 sizes!

These picks feel smooth, more rigid and last longer in comparison to Fender celluloid picks.
