We bought this pedal for the bass player in our band, to play at a number of Pop/Rock gigs. The pedal is incredibly reliable, solidly built and we're very happy with how well it sounds in the mix. The pedal really pulls off the "Big Muff" sound, but offers lots more potential for tweaking the sound. The Noise Gate is an excellent addition, allowing the pedal to really "sing" without becoming too muddy in our mix. The unit itself is built like a tank, and is perfect for any gigging musician. It's also very easy to dial in a good sound, and once we found something that worked well for us, there was no more tweaking required.
