Long life and pleasant feel, they wear only as much as you play them. I use .062 for low B, tuning down 2.5 steps, for dropping to A .064 is better.

I use this for B-string of a 25.5 scale 7-string. It's tight and sounds bright. Regular brands die out very fast in my hands and thinner gauges feel loose. I hope Elixir would do more sevenstring sets with thicker bottom. Now I had to buy 10-52 set + 62 as a single.

Elixir nanowebs just sound as good as new forever. I usually have to change strings only to get to clean my fretboard.
