Sound takes a bit more than other strings to settle, in the meantime it's too metallic. Then the strings sound ok for a few weeks, not too elegant but quite brittle and reliable to dial up your sound with eq, effects etc. After that time the sound goes mediocre. Thus they do last long , but not with great sound for the lasting time they claim!

I love the nanoweb… these are terrible tho.. the coating seems to add another gauge to the strings, loads more tension..really awful set.. back to nanowebs or daddario flats…
