Almost great but not quite there

I'm using the strings in standard tuning on a Tele.

I bought these string because I live in a humid environment and I've always had to change strings often due to oxidation.

Pros: - Solved the issue of oxidation. The coating on the strings really works.
- They feel very smooth to the touch and getting up and down the neck is fast and easy.
- Tuning stability is brilliant. Once properly stretched and tuned, they stay that way for a long time (at least on a Tele/string-through or fixed bridge).
- The sound is very neutral, in the sense of they doesn't emphasize any frequencies.

Cons: - The tension is quite high and it makes for more difficult bending. I'll probably try a lighter gauge.

I think these strings are worth trying. I'm not completely sold on them yet simply because difficulty in bending.

Good strings, not very different to nanoweb

Been using Elixir strings for a while and these ones are as good as the other offerings. Last around 1.5 longer in my experience than other brands and sound fairly clear. Only complaint is that they are somewhat expensive

Too bright
brxa 08.07.2023
Very well made and packed but too bright for my taste. Longetivity will be valued in update review after few weeks/months.

1st update: After two month the strings became too slippery and lost part of their brightness.
2nd update: After four month the strings maintain brightness. So, they last pretty much. But I still don't like the fact that they are slippery.

If you like slippery strings, go for it!

Try these after the optiweb. Actually, I prefer the optiweb, but for the feel of it. I find these quite slippery in the top strings.
Quality is perfect, as all the Elixir strings I used for the last couple of years.
