I bought a pair of these for a 2x10 guitar cab I built.
I matched it to a 7W head amplifier I designed and I used them in a builder show. Everyone was impressed by the natural, dynamic and rich tone I had.
Considering a couple of 1058 can deal nominal 150W I was impressed by how good the react with a low power amp.
Low end is controlled and natural, mids are present and top end is open but not hear piercing.
A balanced and pleasant sound.
I appreciated the cone comes with gasket on both sides ready for front or rear loaded assembly.

Great replacement speaker for Super Champ X2
BennyD 29.03.2014
The Fender speaker in the Super Champ X2 is OK, but in my case start to rattle at high volume. I checked the web for a replacement speaker and the choice was between a Ragin Cajun, Jenson C10R or this Legend 1058. The RC and C10R would give more watt and output but take away some of the typical Fender sound. The 1058 was a perfect choice. It keeps the Fender sound from my Strat and it can take the high volume without any trouble and it's a lot cheaper then the others. You will not go wrong with this speaker.

Great for classic rock tones
bkrnetic 29.11.2019
Bought this together with Eminence 1028k. Took some time to break in but after they break in they sound fantastic! I run them in 2x10 combination in my Vibroverb 63 RI.
