Superb Guitar
GuitarGainz 23.06.2021
A first venture for me into the world of P90 territory, this was a definite high place to start! Guitar is a flawless finish, brushed hardware is lovely touch too. The finish on the body is very nicely done, and has a sort of vintage "sheen" to it instead of a full gloss as per usual Epi's.. The sound overall is extremely versatile, and when you learn to work the volume and tone knobs to your advantage, its possible to get any sound you want from this thing. If there is one "flaw" I could point to ,its that the guitars gold paintjob looks incredible in photos etc, but on close inspection in person it becomes clear its a gold veneer sheet on the body, rather than the wood itself being genuinely painted gold (such as a Gibson).. Although this is the way most Epi's are made so its not really a let down but just worth noting. All in all, superb guitar, feels and sounds like twice the cost.

Best Epiphone I've ever played
zawkas 03.10.2022
Out of the box it is an amazing guitar
Setup:
Spot on except the action was higher than my liking, I lowered the bridge a bit and it's perfect. Truss rod didn't need adjustment, nut cut well, no fret buzz and no sharp edges at all.
Sound:
Single P-90 power, the Seymour Duncan in this sounds killer, from cleans to crunch. I don't miss the neck pickup. Played it through an Orange Dark terror and still sounded great, humming was minimal considering it's a single coil pickups.
Sound is bright, articulate, with the a dynamic range you would expect from a p-90. Cleans up when playing softly and distorts when you hit the strings hard.
Fit and finish:
The gold color looks much better in person than in pictures. It's a matt finish that's rough to the touch. Looks amazing.
Features:
Single pickup = rock and roll.
Fat 50s neck that I personally enjoy. It's thicker than my 59 Epiphone Lazarus. Ebony fingerboard looks amazing, tuners are smooth and hold tune well.
Cons:
No fret markers after the 15th fret had me guessing where to play, guess I have to get used to it.

Excellent guitar

Hello, This is a very well built guitar. The tuning machines, nut, pots, and bridge are all top quality. The Seymour Duncan pickup is amazing, the tones you can dial in great. Anyone looking for a single p90 guitar can't go wrong with this one. The gold Matt finish is beautiful.
