My personal choice number one. Good tone on every tuning i have used and fits perfectly for the rock and heavy music i am playing. Haven´t broken a single one of these heads, thought i hit the drums pretty hard. I will continue using these heads as i am satisfied with the sound and quality and price they provide. I can recommend these to every other drummer no matter what your genre is.

Perfect for latin

My 8'' does not often come out - but when it does it is because I am wanting a latino style funk pitched tom that will cut through like a timbale - this is wearing the coated tone really helps cut through

Surprisingly amazing

I bought this skin for a drum i wanted to sell on with a brand new skin, and when i put this one on i was amazed at how great the clarity and quality was. At a price level like this, the G2 coated must be top of the range at a fairluly low price. I highly recommend g2 coated heads for toms.

parche para tom de doble capa

En general me ha decepcionado un poco este parche, no saca el sonido que esperaba del tom, se come demasiado los armónicos y mata el sonido natural de la madera. además en la mano da la sensación demasiado a sintético (obviamente se que es sintético) pero de sonar a plástico. Para los técnicos de sonido será ideal porque no tienen que ecualizar casi con este parche, para los amantes de los armónicos decepciona un poco. En mi opinión hay otras opciones de doble capa para atenuar un poco indeseadas frecuencias sin llegar a matar totalmente el sonido, y más en un tom de 8"
