The material is so abrasive that after only 3 months of use my iron cobra beaters were damaged beyond use (worn out), and the patch got a big hole on it. So now I have to buy two new beaters and a different brand patch… These are probably ok with acrylic beaters, but with regular felt beaters it’s absolutely terrible. It should be advertised for acrylic only. I reached Tomand about it, but they didn’t care just claim it was normal wear and tear.
