You are resident abroad (outside the EU) and would like to export the goods ordered from us yourself? No problem!
We will be happy to refund the VAT incurred on your order via the payment method you have selected. When ordering online, please enter your residential address in a non-EU country as the billing address in order to receive the refund. This must be verifiable (by passport, identity card, etc.).
It is not a personal export if the goods are sent by a transport company such as a haulage company, railway, postal service or similar, or if the goods are not carried in the usual luggage, but are transported to their destination by a haulage company or freight forwarder, for example. In such cases, please contact us directly to discuss the necessary procedure: international@thomann.de
Upon presentation of an invoice stamped by customs (by post, PDF is not sufficient), we will be able to refund the VAT to you. Please send us the original document by post to the following address:
Thomann GmbH
Accounting
Hans-Thomann-Str. 1
D-96138 Burgebrach.
The export must take place within 3 months after completion of the purchase. The invoice address in the third country must correspond to the residence of the exporter and this must be verifiable (passport, identity card etc.).
Please note that customs can also refuse to stamp the invoice if there are inconsistencies.
