Nice upgrade for my Squier CVC Telecaster
Seungku 16.04.2018
I have Squier CVC Telecaster. I am happy with this guitar overall but had minor issues with it's volume and tone control. I wanted them to have more smooth feel when I roll, to have gradual increase and decrease of its value. So I replaced stock pots to these.

It was more than I expected.

Pro: It opened up my guitar sound. Sound coming out of my guitar became more clearer and fuller. I felt like I installed new pups. And man... rolling these is really smooth and fun. With stock pots, I couldn't do 'Roy Buchanan' style volume and tone swells but with these, no problem at all.

With this minor upgrade, I am happy camper.

Con: None.

If you are not happy with your guitar sound (single coiled pups installed), try to swap your pots with this one [first] and see if you like the sound.

Sets the standard

If I’m ever replacing the electronics in a Fender guitar or bass, I would use nothing else.

Reliable and durable, could potentially last decades. I’ve never had any issues with these pots.

Fender Pot and capacitor
Ben7676 01.09.2014
Excellent quality product very easy to install but make sure you are using an appropriate wiring diagram and good quality solder to make for the best results. Relating to this it is also important to note that this is a 250K pot. Also note the capacitance of the capacitor and see weather you will be using this (to create a tone knob or otherwise).

I have found that the solid shaft variety of Pots are best used with knobs that have grub screws (also make sure you correctly select the knob so that the shaft will fit).

Overall an excellent pot which can be used as a replacement or as part of a new build (especially good when fixing a fender).

Benchmark pots!

I'm in the process of building an offset Tele and I plan to put little '59 in the bridge position and tex-mex in the neck. Two volumes, no tone. The 250K pot will control the neck pickup. I've used Fender pots in the past, typical CTS pots, they are sturdy, long lasting and do the job well.

As expected.

Provided you know what you're doing, these are easy to install and make a solid upgrade for any lower cost guitar. If you don't know what you're doing then i suggest finding somebody that does. Improper installation can lead to your guitar no longer working.

Fender 250K Control Solid Shaft
MattD 24.07.2014
I bought two of these as part of an upgrade package for a 1996 Japanese P bass. For anyone wondering, these can be used as tone or volume pots and 250k is what pretty much all standard Fender basses come with stock. These are the exact pots my USA Standard P came with, hence wanting to use them here again. They make a great upgrade for Squier or Japanese Fenders that come with smaller pots or any instrument that needs new ones. They are cheap enough that upgrading really dirty ones is probably as easy as cleaning old ones! Highly recommended.

Buy cheap, buy twice.

With that in mind I always use CTS potentiometers on my basses. They last forever, simple.

Very Happy
Donnacha 26.02.2019
I bought 3 of these. 2 to but into a new bass I was putting together and 1 as a replacement for a pot on my American Standard Jazz bass.

I have not complaints about this product. It is exactly the same the ones that came as stock on my Jazz bass.

The item is well built and feels very solid. Highly recommend getting this if you are upgrading the electronics on a cheaper bass or simply replacing them on a fender jazz or precision.

CTS pots with solid shaft
himura84 02.04.2019
For telecasters, these are the best pots, hands down!

Somehow, there are two different types of CTS pots, in which the back is either straight solid or with identation... this means you have less area where to solder your ground wires. Regardless, with a bit of practice it's very easy.

Paired it with Orange Drop caps and the difference in sound was huge when compared with the pots that come with the Squier. Recommended
