I bought these in an attempt to give a cheap bass a wider range of tones, but I honestly couldn't hear any difference once they were fitted. It shows that you need to but a Fender bass to get the Fender sound - but not at their current prices, thankyou.
Save money you'd spend on these pu's and put it towards a Harley Benton bass. I've found there's precious little difference in tone between the dearer HB basses and a Fender if you put them through a decent bass amp.
