I got these to replace the worn screws on one of my older Fenders. This bass has the truss rod adjustment at the neck heel so the neck needs to be removed for adjustments.
The metal in these screws are surprisingly poor quality for an original Fender product. It's more like the soft metal used in cheap Far Eastern products. Which I suspect is exactly what this is. The heads started stripping the first time I tightened them. After being tightened just once they're practically as bad as the old ones I wanted to replace. At least the old ones are made of harder metal so I put them back instead.
