My particular guitar came with a body which is made from THREE completely different woods, it looks like it has a stripe of 6cm width in the middle of the body, shame I can't post a photo.
At first i didn't mind it, thought that it is supposed to be like that, it's a Squire made in Indonesia, but after I while i was researching something and read a couple of reviews here and saw the official Thomann and Fender photos and the body top looks like it's made of a SINGLE piece of wood, it looks much better than the particular guitar I got.
Unfortunately my return time has long gone expired, so there's that.
I only wish I helped someone not to make the same mistake I did.
Also the nut was improperly cut making the guitar produce sitar effect on b string, there's a substantial crack on the finish near the neck joint, and someone drilled the holes for pickguard screws too tight, which makes the pickguard not flush with the body but it has a noticeable bow.
These type of problems were kind of expected and I fixed them, but the 3 piece body is a mayor flaw and probably false advertising.
EDIT: since Thomann failed to address this issue, i have to reduce the rating to 1/5 because this is false advertising.
