I purchased this for my Mexican Strat to give it a bit of an old school feel. This is not designed for Mexican starts and was a little too big as I thought might be the case. A couple of small magnets on the inside meant its yard in place no problem. If you want that retro look then this is a cheap option. Loads of people have said how good it looks.typical good value and delivery from THOMANN too.

quality is okay, but it does not hold acceptable
Tobias707 20.02.2014
It is not a big part, right?
I did not want to make my guitar more beautiful.
I just wanted to keep the screws away from my hands.
The quality is okay, but it does not hold acceptable.
If I try to clamp it on the Strat Bridge it falls down…

Good But...
RustyMcAron 16.02.2024
I've bought this for my Stratocaster Reissue 62 made in Japan (1980 circa), the hardware is solid and well built, but unfortunately doesn't fit with my bridge (original model) it is too small, I've tried it with my Strato Mexico (1994) and it is too big 😅... so check well the size of your bridge before buying it!

Ashtray custom
Jacques271 01.04.2015
An easy and inexpensive way for customizing your Stratocaster.
I had to file the edges a little bit off to fit it well (on a Schaller vibrato I confess).
And then, to keep it in place, the genius touch : two small magnetic disks.
Invisibility and glamour. Smoke on the caster...

kazamaranka 26.03.2023
I have a Fender player series guitar. I bought it without researching, because I wanted to attach this cover to my guitar. To make it look vintage. unfortunately, I got it wrong. i put it on my sx brand guitar.

This chrome bridge cover is a perfect fit for the 1974 3-bolt-neck Fender Stratocaster. Came in Fender packaging. Great.

The finishing touch
Mark5863 31.03.2015
Although my '65 reissue came with one of these, I decided to get a spare just in case. Simple push fit stays in place nicely with or without the trem arm fitted

What tremelo is this made for?
jcwhite.sa@gmail.com 21.08.2022
I purchased the bridge ashtray with a Fender 57/62 tremelo and it does not fit snugly. It keeps falling off. Maybe the product description should state which specific tremelo systems are compatible.
