These Fender bridge covers really are luck of the draw. Some have a nasty ringing noise that will actually be heard when playing specific notes. I got this one to replace a particularly bad one. This one was very much middle-of-the-road. Not the worst I've heard but not the best either. I had to use a thin layer of foam UNDER the cover (between body and cove) to dampen the ringing.
It got slightly better than the old one but I really don't understand why Fender can't manufacture these to a higher consistency. Because some of the older ones I've got have far less ringing.
They look cool though, if that's the kind of vibe you're looking for. And there aren't really any better alternatives so I guess they're ok.

Vintage look

Really nice if you want to give your P-bass that vintage look!
Very solid piece of metal, on the downside, mine came with some minor, superficial scratches on it. It doesn't really matter because it's going to get scratched anyway, but since it's not THAT cheap, it would have been nice to get it in mint condition.
