I originally bought this to use as a "true bypass" tone pot for my SD SSL-5 in the bridge of my stratocaster. It would have worked very well in that capacity, but I ended up using it as a blender pot, and I'm very happy I did. So now I have many more tone and switching options, but I have to do it purposefully...if I leave it alone, it works just like stock. My only complaint, and I admit that this is partially "ID10T error," is that when these are brand new they are super super tight, and it's hard to know when you're switching it in/out or if you're going too far. Then, after a few uses (or a little bad luck, not sure which) they get softer and it's a little tricky to tell whether it's engaging or not. Overall, very minor complaints, and I'm very satisfied with it.
