Gewa Piezo Pickup with volume knob

I currently use this pickup for my lavta (Istanbul lute) and it delivers an amazing sound, really close to the acoustic sound of the instrument. It is very clear, no hissing sound or other noise. So far I've used it at home and in studio, but I can't wait to use it to live situations as well. Not that I think (according to my so far experience) that it will sound bad. The volume knob is a really good addition, which can boost your sound when playing without any DI box, right through a mix table. Even the design is nice, which suits any wood instrument with its wooden looks. The only thing I didn't like so much, was the size of it. Of course this calls for a better technique, but sometimes it gets in the way of my picking style. However this happens because I wanted it just below my strings and not behind the bridge.

All in all it is a keeper. Clear, nice looking, convenient and for a nice price.
