This case is great for musicians that want to gig a lot and keep their gear safe. Are the more durable units? Sure! But they cost more. This is a great bang for buck.

As for the sliding screws, they can seem annoying, sure, but it really isn't bad to mount gear if you put the case on its side while you screw things in. That way the screws don't slide up and down.
