Perfect for content creation

The Focusrite Vocaster Two is a compact USB-C audio interface that is perfectly suited to the needs of content creators. No matter what the recording situation, its numerous connection options offer a high degree of flexibility for podcasting and streaming, while useful features such as Auto Gain, which sets levels with a click of a button, and Enhance, which comes with four voice presets, streamline the recording process and ensure a professional broadcast sound in no time at all. The included "Vocaster Hub" software also features an intuitive GUI and ensures simple routing of all channels as well as mixing and audio capture via stereo loopback. Furthermore, a powerful ASIO driver guarantees stable performance. This Studio set includes the Vocaster DM14v microphone with cable and HP60v closed-back headphones for straight out-of-the-box recording!

Explanation of the connections on the back of the Focusrite Vocaster Two

Flexible connectivity

The Focusrite Vocaster Two is equipped with two XLR inputs for connecting microphones. The built-in, studio-quality mic preamp delivers over 70dB of gain - enough to get the best out of any mic without the need for an additional in-line amplifier. In addition to a TRRS connection as well as Bluetooth 5.0 for connecting a mobile phone, the Vocaster Two also has a TRS mini-jack output for recording straight to a camera or portable recording device as well as two balanced jack sockets at the back for monitor speakers. The headphone output on the front in turn features integrated direct monitoring, allowing all signals to be monitored on headphones with near-zero latency. The included circumaural closed-back headphones block out ambient noise, while the microphone's integrated windshield stops plosives, and an internal shock mount cuts out low-end rumble.

Practical and portable

It has never been easier for users to start recording: Whether podcasting, vodcasting, or streaming, the Focusrite Vocaster Two enables beginners to create high-quality content from the get-go thanks to its simple operation and practical functions, while its extremely compact and lightweight design means that the audio interface can be carried anywhere in a small rucksack. The Focusrite Vocaster Two's USB-C power input is perfectly suited to on-the-go use as well - what is more, the Kensington MiniSaver slot on the back of the interface ensures peace of mind by protecting against theft when out and about. The Studio bundle represents excellent value for money for those looking to enter the world of podcasting/streaming but have yet to invest in any equipment. By providing everything one needs to start producing broadcast-quality recordings, its saves not only a lot of money but time as well.

For professional live streams

Users can bring in guests over the phone or integrate video chats into their live streams by connecting a mobile phone to the Focusrite Vocaster Two via Bluetooth 5.0 or the TRRS connector, and thanks to its mix-minus function, broadcast guests can hear all signals except their own voice, thus avoiding disturbing echoes or feedback. Two stereo loopback channels also enable the routing of audio from a computer to the interface, which easily allows for the integration of intros, outros, video game audio, or pre-recorded interviews into the production. It is also possible to record professional podcast audio straight to a camera via the TRS mini-jack output instead having to use recording software. The Vocaster DM14v is a dynamic microphone and therefore does not require phantom power, and the included 3m cable allows for flexible recording setups.

MG
Complete and very useful for podcasters
Marcel Gahrmann 04.05.2024
I've never owned an interface that had no instrument inputs so that was a first. This product is directed towards podcasters and not musicians. However, you could enter 1 instrument or sound creating device through the "phone" TRS input.

Even though pretty much everything is plastic, the build quality is solid. The headphones are very comfortable and clear. The microphone is not top of the line audiophile level, but it is a massive upgrade if you use internal mics from your device or a all in one USB mic.

The device worked out of the box directly on apple, without software or drivers. The registry was easy since it auto-filled the serial. Very intuitive interface with easy operation. The bluetooth phone connection worked perfectly even with an old Iphone.

Overall I was very pleasantly surprised with the overall quality, except for the XLR cable which did not work at all. Replacing it did the trick.

Positive:
- High sound quality
- Sturdy contruction
- Easy and versatile connectivity
- Power switch
- Clear and easy software, easy registry
- Plug and play

Negatives:

- XLR cable was completely busted out of the box
- No "real" instrument input. (irrelevant for podcasters only)

Awesome piece of kit!!
KizzaB171 03.07.2024
The interface is very easy to use, and can be plugged straight into your phone if you use this as your main recording device. The microphone has a good weight to it and feels of premium quality. The sound is great. It's really easy to use. At the current price it's an absolute steal, even the headphones are of really good quality. Very happy with my purchase.

Amazing PODCAST/INTERVIEW tool
Hollywood-Wedding-Films 12.07.2024
There is NOT a single reviewer in YOUTUBE to showcase the fact that you do NOT need absolutely NO software to create any recordings.
You just need a typical Audio Recorder connected at the output of your VOCASTER 2 STUDIO.
