The Thomann description states the above. I'm not so sure . Playing without picks for forty years and a natural nail sound is brighter. This gives soft to dull in my opinion! (Alaska picks are closer) I'm sure it's the delrin material -- perhaps the polycarbonate is better? I only resort to a pick because of a broken nail - and this is a practical (temporary) solution with a reasonably snug fit and minimum movement --- so I don't regret the purchase.
An aside . In all my years of playing I have never yet come across a pick manufacturer who addresses directly the problem of a broken nail with a specific product. In my opinion it's quite a common occurance for 'natural' pickers.
