Gator Drum Bag Set Fusion

I have researched and used many different types of drum bags and so far, I feel this set has given the best results if you're looking for a budget drum bag option.

Gator are a big company, bigger than most of the companies that offer cheap as chips drum cases/bags, and as such, you can expect a certain quality.

Whilst these bags are in no way master-crafted, the material used is of a good quality, (the outer material is tough and resistant to most scratches and the inner material is soft and padded enough for non-extensive travel), the zips and stitching are good and the shoulder straps do the job.

They are also, by far, the best looking cheap drum bags, as the ones offered by other companies usually look a lot cheaper.

I would also recommend these bags if you are looking for a drum storage solution. It is better to store drums in soft cases rather than hard, due to moisture, and thick, expensive padding isn't necessary in such a scenario.

These gig bags are great - I took a bit of a chance as my kit is bigger than the listed sizes. For reference, my kit is the following sizes:
22" x 20" kick
14" x 13" floor tom
12" x 10" rack tom
10" x 10" rack tom
14" x 7" snare.

I was worried that with all the YESS mounting lugs etc these might not fit, but this set of bags swallowed them all up with ease.

OK a set of hard cases will protect your kit better, but these are super value and way better than throwing your kit in the back of the car unprotected - buy with confidence!

I was moving to another continent and I did not want to sell my beloved drums set. So I have to storage it in my father in law?s attic for nearly a year and a half. Everyone knows that attics sometimes have some damp around, however when I was back in the country after all that time my drums did not suffer any damage. I glad to say that the Gator Drum Bag Set Fusion do what they claim to do: be water proof. Also I have to say the drums are very easy to carry around when are in these cases, because their belt is not too long but not short either. These are very affordable cases for a small price. They really will protect your drums!

I played a small gig the other day, before the cases came, and I had to transport my snare without a case. Not only was it annoying to carry it by the hoops, I also had to be really careful when I had to put it down anywhere to make sure not to scratch it. So the first thing I did when my cases arrived was to put my snare in its case and put it through the paces. I banged it into some stuff and tossed it around a bit, and boy was I pleased! I felt that my snare is well protected, and I won't have to worry one bit when I'm on the go with my kit. The carrying strap is also pretty comfortable, so handling my drums with these cases is sure gonna be a pleasure!!! Can't wait for my next gig!!
