Solid solution and mobility

This Gator rack delivers the quality what you would expect from the company. It's built rock-solid, has really nice wheels, which can be really helpful when the unit is full and you need to move it around. The there are only 2 small issues: it lacks a surface treatment on the small stands/legs, so if you have the rack sitting on a table, or such it slips and slides more easily than expected.
If the front and rear are removed, the butterfly handles move quite freely around, so they can be caught up easily in obstacles. I use it standing on it's side and this definitely needs checking to make sure you don't scratch the surface you're putting it on.
Other than that it's solid, quite light and easy to add or remove racks, so I give it a 5-star.

Great rack case. I use it to transport my overly big bass rig which consists of my old Trace Elliot head, AKG Digital DMS70 wireless, Korg rack tuner and my old Boss VF-1 multi effects. Problem with all this is it's a heavy setup. This is where the GRR6-L case comes into play. The fist thing is that because it's abs plastic it's extremely light, so it doesn't add much extra weight to the rig. But the best thing is that it has two wheels and a handle. This is preventing back injuries every time I gig. Also like all Gator ABS rack cases, it has the rackmounts on both sides which means for me I can mount a power strip on the rear rack. I also want to put a breakout panel there when I get a chance. Overall this is the best rack case I have had, lightweight and on wheels. If it ever gets damaged I would by another one. I cannot recommend this highly enough.

Super lightweight rack case. The handle can be a little sticky sometimes, and the wheels aren't really meant for anything but a smooth ground, but otherwise it's a great case for moving things around. The screws aren't the standard rackmount thread size, but this comes with enough extra screws to mount just about whatever you'll need.
