I order this on a budget that could not stretch to the 8000-400 stand. I am using it with a pair of 8040, and it is exactly what I required. Used in conjunction with the Z4080-408 adapter, the speakers connect perfectly and securely. The wide base is heavy enough to be stable, the height adjustment is convincing when locking off. The only think lacking is no channel for cable management, but I just taped mine off with black LX tape.

Comes in two sections, and the build/construction is very simple, with clear instructions. Happy with this product and the quality.
