Oirish Folk...sounds great...

I have been playing bouzouki for years, and wanted to try a tenor banjo. I wasnt too sure about if I wanted to play it on stage, so didnt want to shell out big bucks. But on the other hand, I am very aware you get what you pay for with instruments. I choose this Gewa banjo because it was about in the middle of the range i wanted to spend.
I am extremely happy with it. It is solidly built, and has a great sound. You have to get get used to the thin neck if youv'e never played one before. I restrung it straight away with .036, .024, .016, and .012 strings to tune it GDAE. I play it every day, and am loving it. Now I have to get a piezo PU for it...

Ääni on hyvin erottuva. Kaula on minun makuuni hieman paksuhko. Suurin puute on kaulan pieni vinous siten, että G-kieli pyrkii lähelle otelaudan reunaa. Pitäisi varmaan korjata. Kun kokeilin pikaisesti Deeringin Goodtime-banjoa, huomasin kyllä, mikä on ero n. kaksi kertaa kalliimpaan. Suositten varauksin.
