Did the designer ever carry a bass in this?

The actual case is perfectly fine, it feels robust and has a good amount of padding. My main gripe is that there are two handles on the front of the case, neither of which is conveniently located: one is too high, the other too low. The result is that when you're rolling the instrument, you just cannot get a comfortable grip. A sloppy mistake, which makes it unusable.
P.S. I personally would definitely advise against using the wheels on the actual case, unless you don't mind shaking the life out of your bass.
