Great pick guard
nathan_drake 01.10.2020
I used it almost 3 years after purchasing, still worked fine. Just need to be careful about air bubbles, just like with a screen guard on a mobile phone.

Nice but not perfect
Joey Bee 12.02.2020
When installing the pickguard I followed instructions of a luthier on youtube but I still have some air under the pickguard by the edges. Also it would be better if the plastic came precut because not everybody can cut perfectly with scissors. Not me at least. I like it though. I strum a lot so I really needed a clear pickguard to protect the finish on my Alvarez AD66 as well as keeping the look clean. It is the kind of finish you don't want to put a colored pickguard on.

Not too bad...
Adri 16.10.2016
Got it to protect the finish of my Godin.

Managed to place it with a good result but it was not an easy task, it is very sticky so I had to be very careful and rehearse my moves beforehand.

It's big 20x25cm so you can cover most of your picking area, it comes with templates to cut different shapes, I didn't use them but did cut a little bit off and I'd recommend to use a very sharp stanley knife and rulers, scissors will leave uneven edges, they can be filed down a bit though.

Sitting on the Dock of the Bay

Just completing a trilogy to nurse back my poorly acoustics to health after doing an Otis Redding in China.
I wanted to put a Pickguard on one and there was more than enough left help cover cover the hairline cracks on another guitar.

Cutting and placing the plastic is a little tricky but just takes a little time and planning.
Personally, I like the look of the thin strips covering the cracks, gives it a kind of vintage look.

These pickguards ain't what they used to be
Ian B. 08.08.2017
I bought the Gewa Pickguard a few years ago and used them on two guitars. The guards - and the protected bits of the guitars :) - show no signs of wear. I was completely satisfied and recently bought another for a new guitar. The material in the new pickguards is completely different from the stuff used back then and I damaged the surface of the PICKGUARD (!!) just sticking it on.

For the price it's ok
Pudi 21.01.2019
Golpeador's upper part has the wrong dimensions! Hopefully, it's wide enough and we cut another by hand. Don't know other shapes are ok.

Pickguards who needs em?
Sparky 23.05.2014
Answer I did ... if you have a cedar top or soft wood guitar and dont want to see it worn away or spoil the look with a dirty big plastic thing, this stuff works just fine. Easy to cut and fix you can get above and below the sound hole or two guitars worth from it.

Easy to stick on the guitar. Maybe a bit too heavy. I would buy a thinner set.
