Great product
Natko 14.10.2015
I have mid or low priced guitars with no locking tuners, and always had at least some issues with tuning stability, especially on stratocaster type guitar with floating tremolo. I used to use graphite from pencils, and it helped a bit, but I always wanted to try some teflon-type lubricant.
Gewa Micro Teflon is not expensive, and it does it's job really well. Of course, when you get a small tube like this (4 grams), you tend to think at first it will not last a long time, but the truth is that it will. You need only small "blobs" of teflon on nuts/saddles.
It's a good product, helps with tuning, but it is not a magic trick that will solve all of your problems. You need to stretch new strings, learn to make adjustments on guitar and (if you can or want) invest in better aftermarket parts for your guitar. But every little thing helps, and as far as this product goes, I like it very much.

Quite good with some quirks
Medvedotron 10.02.2019
It does what it's supposed to - lubricate your nuts. It also is almost impossible to squeeze properly so it's probable it will explode all over your headstock. Also, if you put excessive amount, it will lubricate everything BUT the nut since it will hold onto string and they drip on the lacquer. Anyways if you master the strength to push it out of the tube and learn proper location of the weird white stuff to place it will do SO MUCH BETTER than your common graphite shavings.

TUNING PROBLEMS ARE GONE WOOP WOOP
Anonymous 07.01.2015
EXCELLENT product squirt this stuff on your guitar nut and tremolo system and the friction is gone.

For example i restrung up my fender stratocaster and use this stuff and in 20 mins the tuning was rock solid and i was able to record some guitar tracks instantly without any tuning problems with is just remarkable must buy specially if you own a gibson les paul or an acoustic guitar with a three a side headstock this product will lesson down friction and increase tuning stability.

nothing really negative about this product only thing is that this product doest have syringe plunger so you have to squeeze out the product and i think i wont get the last remain of the product without cutting the tube open and scraping the last remains.

good product no regrets buying it.

Precious and unique grease
Bentrushmore 29.07.2020
This is a very unique product that I haven't been able to find anywhere else and it lasts for a long time.
Every time I exchange strings on my guitar or bass I make sure I put a bit of Micro Teflon grease as it makes a big difference when tuning. By using this product my strings become incredibly responsive to tuning.

Pros:
- greases really well
- lasts for very long time

no cons, just pros.

Perfect solution for string detuning problem and prevention of strings breaking.

Now always when I change the strings, I apply a little lubricant on the nut and saddle.

highly recommended.

If you have trouble keeping your guitar in tune, sometimes this is caused by sharp break angles where your string goes through the nut. This problem seems to occur much more often on 3X3 headstocks. Fear not Gewa manufacture this excellent teflon nut lube at a decent price, and can usually cure the problem, added string life due to less string breakages is an added bonus. Worth buying just to save the time you'll save constantly retuning.

Great product and will buy again!

Great lubricant for your strings so they don’t catch on the nut. I use this stuff on my Squier Classic Vibe strat and my PRS SE Custom 24. If you’re like me and you use the whammy bar a lot, you NEED something like this at your disposal. It improves the tuning stability A LOT.

I use this stuff when I restring my guitars. Just dab a small blob (smallest amount possible) into the nut slots. I also use some on the string tree. Don’t put too much on, you’re only wasting it.

The downside is that you have the squeeze the bottle quite hard to get some out, even a small blob, so be careful. Also when the bottle is getting empty, the plastic bottle can split and it will leak. This happened to me recently, but I just put some tape around the bottle to seal the split.

Not a cleaner, a lubricant
Peter R. 438 23.03.2014
Best ever cure for "going out of tune" Gibson type headstock (cheaper) guitars.

Gibson/Epiphone use a "slippy" nut to prevent the "going out of tune" problem, so cheaper copies of these guitars do suffer "sometimes" from going out of tune while playing.

This stuff "teflon" applied in the string groves of the nut, under the strings(between the strings and the nut) does a wonderful job of keeping your guitar in tune while playing it.

Fenders don't suffer this problem much, as the angle of the strings, across the nut is not so severe.

This teflon stays where you put it (not running down your fret board), so I recommend the stuff big time.

Not one music shop I visited knew what "nut lube" was??

No more tuning issues
HairyChapter 20.09.2014
I bought this hopeing it would Solveig the tuning issues on my Gibson les Paul. I applied a small amount on the bridge-saddles and on the nut and it worked exactly like it's supposed to. I had tried the old pencil trick without succes so I would say I'm very pleased.

The only downside is the applicator which i found was giving me a hard time. I didn't squeeze out the small amount i wanted but it was no big issue. I just squeezed out a small amount on a piece of cardboard and applied it with a toothpick.

It may seem pricey but since I only used a very small amount It will probably last me a lifetime. Recommended purchase

Cheaper than big bends but does the same job just as well.....really contributes to tuning stability even on fixed bridge instruments with well-cut quality nuts, invaluable with trems and something every guitar player should try if you haven't done so already....not so long ago I used think "what a waste of money" but now I'm converted..cleaner and easier long term that fooling around with pencil ends even if it may seem pricey at first!
