Well made, heavy, solid and very beautiful to be seen too. If you want something that stops the sound completely it is not for you, this mute makes the cello sound less louder, but still audible.

It does change the sound considerably, becoming more nasal in character. There is still bass left but it cuts out the resonant bass/body of the sound. But all in all it does what it promise and makes the Cello more quiet.

Good in sound but it comes loose from the bridge when playing bass notes

The mute is of good quality and the sound is muted about 85%. The muted tone that is left is quite nice. The only problem is that it comes loose under certain vibrations of the bass strings. It might also leave some marks on the wood of the bridge.

Super Dämpfer!

Seit 18 Jahren spiele ich Pferdekopfgeige. Genau so ein Dämpfer habe ich nie gefunden. Das dämpft wircklich gut, wenn du einfach in der nacht üben möchtest. oder halt nicht laut üben möchtest. Das ist echt super. Ich verwende es 3 jahre lang. Jetzt iverwende ich immer noch. das nehme ich halt überall mit. Sehr gut.
