GHS quality, but unbalanced tension

I like GHS strings for their mids and feel, but after trying these 11-50s on 3 guitars, I can subjectively say that the wound strings are quite loose and floppy, which makes setting up the guitar quite impossible.
These might be perfect for multiscale guitars but they didn't work at all with my Danelectro, Ibanez and Peerless semi-hollow with Bigsby.
