The boomers made by ghz are the strings of choice for me! I find them suitable especially for long aggressive heavy and power metal solos! The strong bass and the good solid treble of these strings always offer me the punchy sound i look for in my solos! Great price for value also! If you haven't tried them yet, you should give them a chance, it's all you need to get stuck on these heavy metal strings.

Great sounding strings

I've always used 8s and these ones are nice and slinky. Tone is clear and once stretched into place they don't budge. Nice!

They are GHS, what did you expect?

GHS Boomers are my strings to go, I use their 10-38's since forever but I needed a few sets of 8's for my midi/synth guitar.

No complaints, they are perfect.
