The stand is very robust and stable but my 14'' snare ''floats'' in the stand. When tightened it raises the snare from the rubber grip a bit but holds perfectly.

I rate this stand, it sets up high enough for me and tilts in sensible increments. sturdy and not too big a footprint. It has a memory lock for the height but the tilt could be eaisier to adjust.
