It is a nice product to have! From my experience the bottom part it is really hard to take off so you can place the cymbal! Fortunatelly, the clutch never comes off while playing!

Useful and quick-with a small modification!

This is good quality and a solid mechanism for the quick release/lock. The top of the clutch is ironically not the quickest to thread the upper rod.

A quick mod to make the quick release even faster: glue the cymbal felt to inner ring of the quick release nut! It's great..
