great patch for the price, protects your head and you can detach it if you want to.

I put the protector on one of my drum head a while ago. It still is perfectly straight compared to another drumset on which I play a lot. You will get significant dents in your drumhead without one of these protectors.
The sides have started to lift up from all the playing but a quick rub re-sticks them to the head.
Overall a good product. It is quite cheap and can save you a lot of money on base drum heads

Did the job until the bass drum skin split after a few years heavy usage.
So, it outlasted it's use - that about says it all. :-)
