Purchased these to swap with the "speed knobs" that came on my 1991 Gibson Les Paul Standard.
Removing the original knobs was the hardest part, a little loop of fishing line made the job easier and safer than trying to pry against the body.
Take a piece of fishing line about 24" long and tie the ends together, slip the line under the knob ,(you want the Middle of the loop), and twist both ends in opposite direction a couple of times so that the knob is in the middle of the fishing line loop and pull up, the knob should pop up without risking marking the guitar body, your also not putting any pressure on the pot using this method.
These slip straight into place and require no adhesive, I'm not sure about the epiphone Les Paul's, I know they use different pots but these fit my 1991 Les Paul and I also tried them on my 2007 ES335 and my 2010 SG standard and they fit just fine.
They are a subtle change but they do change the appearance , they are not as easy to use as the speed knobs and can be a little slippery but are more of a traditional look.

Look the part, are the part!
Pavonis 11.04.2018
Used a set of these when renovating a friend's Les Paul. Given that they're a name brand, they're really affordable, They fit snugly, they have that classic look like they could be fifty years old, which most likely is what you want!

It could be that no-name brands offer slightly cheaper alternatives, but If you're looking at these, you probably want that feeling of knowing you've got "real Gibson" parts on your Gibson guitar. Above that, look and feel wise these won't disappoint.

CH
original but expensive
Christian H. 471 20.02.2014
those hats are the original gibson bell hats, and they are pretty expensive in my opinion for just a bit of plastic, but they are the real deal, and does look slightly different and more detailed than the significant cheaper copys, thats why i have choose them.
Please be aware of it that those knobs does not fit on every potentiometer out there, as there are differences in measurements, those will work great for original gibson, but will not fit, for example on the göldo 500k. dont apply to hard if the hat will not fit on the potentiometer as it going to break and will become unusable

Expensive for what they are
i384 24.10.2022
A little pricey, quality not ideal - a few rough edges along the bottom, deep-ish gauge on one of the knobs. Not too noticeable when playing or from a distance, but might be a surprise if you are picky! I expected these to be perfect for the price, but if I was buying again I would go for one of the cheaper generic options, as quality is likely to be the same.

Ovreall amber colour is a bit darker than pictured.

Complete the look
David8581 08.12.2018
I bought these for an LP style guitar I've had for years, but wasn't 100% happy with. I never liked either the pots or knobs (didn't look great) so I replaced them. These look miles better than the originals and I would put them on another guitar if I needed to.

Good replacement knobs
G-T-R 27.01.2015
Good quality knobs if you ever need to replace the original ones... These are suitable for different guitars of course. They are particularly useful if you want prefer knobs to the some standard numberless colored knobs.

Good quality

Got these for my Les Paul 2008 Standard. They were too tight, much more than the original set. I had to modify slightly for them to fit perfectly. Anyways, they look really good on a nice cherry-burst finish.
