After using CTS pots for years I decided to check out some middle ground for projects where money is tight without entirely sacrificing quality.
They are just over half the price of a top end pot and twice the price of a cheap one, does this reflect in their quality?
Compared to a cheap pot the are smooth, robust, electrically quiet and obviously better.
Compared to the likes of CTS they possibly don't feel quite so solid but there is no obvious quality gap.
Well. I am back for more already, and likely to be in the future.

Better than the latest CTS offerings
Roelof 15.05.2019
I recently completely destroying a CTS pot by simply pushing on a tele stile knop. It turned out CTS has started using folded sheet metal instead of die-cast tops for their pots.
These Goldo ones are still the standard design. They turn easily and the shaft fits most of the cheaper Chinesevolume knobs which makes them drop-in replacement for the cheap mini pots in budget guitars like squiers.

Amazing pot

Honestly, I would not bother with all CTS pots. These are awesome, made in japan, quality product. Definetly worth the extra money to get these over the cheapest Harley Benton ones.

Much more clarity and a better more gradual adjustment. Always upgrade your pots when getting new pickups

solid pots
unknown pleasure 31.08.2019
Use these for most my cheaper guitars, I learned that a cheap bass usually means they cut cost on the electronics. So I tend to replace those. Tried Alpha pots, did not like those. These are way better and the tin really grabs easy on these. Nice light and smooth action.

Göldo 250 kOhms Poti - good guitar parts
Anonymous 21.01.2017
Goldo potis are my default choice for replacing old ones or when building new guitars.
To me Goldo electronic parts seem good quality for the money.
I mostly used 250 and 500 k. Please note - solder them professionally in order to fully benefit of their intrinsec qualities
PROS:
Good spare parts
Correctly priced

Göldo 250 kOhms Poti
Flatfifth 04.02.2015
I was searching for a Potentiometer that had the right shaft length and thickness for my Warwick RB Corevette $$ 5. This one fit perfectly!
It is not too stiff nor too easy to turn and has a rough surface that is easy to solder.

Good quality potentiometer

A simple 250kOhm pot, had it in my guitar for 2 years and it still works great.
No problem with noise or crackling so far.
Good quality and a pretty good taper.

This is a great 250k pot that has been working perfectly on my red strat for about a month.
