I wanted totally flat frames to put fishmans with frames on my Solar 7 strings guitar but wasn't able to find any.
There are for 6 strings but not for 7 strings.
So I bought 2 of those and sanded the back until it was flat.
It worked great and they served their purpose well.

Too small an endplate

I was expecting these to be like the standard humbucker rings, but stretched a bit.
Unfortunately the ends are only 8mm wide meaning they are too small to use. The baseplate of my 7 string pickups are wider than these.
They are well made, the quality is not an issue, just the size.
This is probably why most 7 strings have body mounted pickups.
