These strap buttons were bought to replace the ugly Schaler style strap locks I had on my Les Paul. They look great and with a rubber washer to lock the strap they work perfectly too. Only time will tell how the gold holds up though.

purchase the Gotoh EP-B1 Gold Strap Pins and I have to say they look sharp and work well, I've tried using a variety of guitar straps and they all fit snug and really well, all in all a good product

Sturdy and pretty, but the gold color is just a fragile coating

Ergonomically these are great strap pins, the only problem being that the color wears off way too easily (with rubbing) because it's a just a thin and fragile golden coating. Underneath, after some time (if you take off your strap rather often) you get back to plain chrome color.

Good, but not great.
