I ordered this just to try it in my 2015 Gibson SG Standard (to replace the defective brass zero frets that are fitted to the 2015 models).
It is fantastic. It claims to increase harmonics. It does. Sustain has improved in length and quality. Rhythm is creamier without losing any of the SG bite or growl.
I fitted it along with new strings, so it's too early to report whether tuning stability has improved. It seems fine so far.
To put it simply, it is a massive improvement on the replacement nuts issued by Gibson (and I have the earlier version gun-metal colour version and the titanium version Gibson finally settled on).
I'm so impressed with this product that I've just ordered three more. One for my 2015 Les Paul Standard and two spares. I'm already wondering if this is enough - they won't be around forever!
** UPDATE **
Having played-in new strings, I can say that the tuning stability with this Graph Tech nut is much better than with the Gibson titanium nut. I generally tune one string at a time with theG-Force on my SG (I think the guitar is too resonant to tune polyphonically with G-force) - and now I often find that the SG is still in tune straight out of the case. There certainly no more "whirring" backwards and forwards. Big improvement!

Needed some adjustment before fitting it on my Gibson LP 2015 Classic. Much better than the stock brass nut.

Good quality, but does not fit
shff 14.06.2021
Good quality, but it does not fit the Gibson adjustable zero-fret it's supposed to replace. At least it didn't for my SG (it's a Gibson SG Special Faded 2016 to be more precise). I had to file it down to size myself, which is not a lot of work, but still requires time and tools.

A direct replacement for 2015 Gibson zero fret brass nut.
Casso 02.10.2018
Like many others I found the zero fret brass nut on my 2015 Gibson Les Paul Special to be wearing quickly and causing tuning problems.
The Graph Tech Tusq nut which I bought from Thomann to replace it was the ideal solution to the nut problem. It slotted in directly with no modifications required although they do warn that some sanding may be needed for a proper fit. In my case it was simply remove the brass nut and drop in the Graph Tech.
I took the opportunity to re-string the guitar and that was it, job done.
If you have one of these 2015 Gibson guitars with a problem nut I would not hesitate to recommend the Graph Tech Tusq XL as a very satisfactory replacement.

Perfect fit

Perfect fit for the Gibson Les Paul Traditional 2015. Looks way better too and this doesn't wear off as the brass nut does.

Used this to replace the original zero fret nut on a 2015 Gibson SG. Very easy to do and the Graph Tech nut functions very well. No issues.

(Almost) Perfect fit

Used to replace the brass zero fret on my 2015 Les Paul. Only very little grinding to achieve a perfect fit. Like all graphtec's, no tuning issues whatsoever.

A must for zero fret ulternative in 2015 built Gibsons
minboggy 12.05.2018
I also received the titanium nut as a warranty backup from Gibson but this nut sounds way better. I am vary happy with the tone. It beats brass & titanium nuts.
