Unbelievably useful. Amazing.
Birdiesven 06.03.2022
This thing is simply fantastic. Not only is it a pop screen (obviously), you can unscrew the pop filter head and fit anything else to it that will take a standard microphone screw adapter (ie. 5/8" Male / 3/8" Female). This means that it can be used as an adjustable mic stand by fitting a mic clip to it or anything else you can think of that uses the same connector. Then there's the fact that it's modular – each individual arm linkage is removable meaning that if the whole thing is too long, just remove one or two of the linkages. Too short? Buy two and add more linkages to one of them. The possibilities are endless and I think the manufacturer is seriously underselling the usability of this item. I'd give it six stars across the board if I could. Highly recommended.

Finally, a pop shield that stays where you put it.
Stevetf 25.05.2023
I was tired of drooping pop shields. Where most pop shields use a flexible goose neck, this one has a linkage system with multiple ball joints that can be individually locked. This novel design of pop shield is not only inexpensive, but IT WORKS! The Gravity MA 3D A POP 1 is easy to position, and stays in position.

Although it is made mostly of plastic, so long as it is treated with a reasonable amount of care, it looks like it should give long and trouble-free service. (I'll update this review if that proves to be not the case).

The ball joints don't need to be very tight - just nip them up enough to hold their position and the pop shield will stay exactly where you put it. (over-tightening could be a point of failure, but there is absolutely no need to over-tighten).

The shield itself comprises two layers of thin fabric with a gap between the layers, which is noticeably more effective than single layer designs.

The thing that surprises me most about the Gravity MA 3D A POP 1 is that it isn't the number #1 best selling pop-shield. If you're looking for a pop shield that is easy to position and stays where you position it - this is the one! Currently priced at under £14 GBP it is among the cheapest pop shields, and is one of the best at any price.

v
Finally a good low cost pop filter
vlatco 08.02.2022
Extremely stable, there is NO chance that the filter sags if you tighten everything properly no matter what position you put the filter in.

You can even remove the filter from the arm and mount a lightweight mic and it will hold it without saging too in most positions.

Absolute best buy. Other pop filters in this price range are nowhere near this level of quality plus they don't let you mount other accessories/mics on the arm like this Gravity filter does.

Amazing design, so useful!
BernieW 25.06.2022
This is a pop filter designed to work in any position from the stand to in front of a mic, but the designers made one genius, simple move - attach the pop screen with a standard microphone thread! You can put a mic clip on it and then this becomes the most flexible, adaptable mic mount you've ever had. The base clamps tightly and the ball joints reach anywhere. The pop screen itself is effective and has good coverage. Even better this is well made and it holds tight without slipping, and better still, it's cheap! You can even add or remove sections from it, or combine it with pieces from another unit and extend it. I've never seen anything in audio that was so clever, so useful and so cheap. Look at the price, you expect it to be flimsy but it'll hold a mic without sagging, it works and it'll last for years. I use it at home for recording and at my gigs all the time, love it. I'm never putting a hi-hat mic on a stand again, this is better. You can mic up all sorts of instruments and percussion with this, oh and it's great as a pop filter too!
