I use these to mic cymbals from underneath. With these I can mic an entire drumset without having to use a single mic stand. Perfect on small stages where stands can be knocked off balance by musicians.
It's also perfect for attaching two mics to one stand. I have several, and I use them on every gig I do.

great to have in your toolbox.

I use this in conjunction with the Gravity MA Goose S to mic up a hihiat. the holder holds a relative heavy load. It don't wander off on the stand it's attached to. I have 2 of them as accessories in my toolbox of solutions to problems I will encounter.
looks well buildt. Not many parts that can fail. Takes a bit of effort to clamp it securly/tight, but when it sits, it sits.

Mic stand side clamp
Anonymous 10.08.2016
A simple device but well made and very useful.
I wanted to save mic stands around a drum kit so used a couple of these to get mics under the snare (on the same stand as the top snare mic) and for a mark tree (on the same stand as the hi-hat mic).
The clamp worked perfectly holding on to the upright, and had more than enough capacity to be attached to much larger shafts. Not limited to other mic stands!
It would also work well holding a mic - maybe even on a short boom - for an acoustic guitar, for example, on the same stand as the vocal mic.
As supplied it comes with bright green trim on the knobs. If these are not to your taste, plain black rings are supplied as alternatives - a neat touch.
I can see this getting a lot of use, and would thoroughly recommend it. Good value for money.

Stable, it's not hard to attach and detach it from all kinds of tubes (check the max. allowed tube radius though). After it's attached it doesn't go anywhere, very secure. From my experiences great in a combination with Gravity MA Goose.

Simply Awesome
Vashish - Mauritius 24.11.2021
I use this as a holder for my Behringer Powerplay P1 in-ear monitor. Fixed on a microphone stand and my musicians and vocalists simply enjoyed the setup.

A good little piece of kit.
Methers 03.05.2024
Needed to move away from some mic stands due to space and so these, paired with the Gravity MS U Clamp, did the job of mounting a mic holder on the stem of the music stand (for when the mics are not needed). Do the job although can come a little loose sometimes so just need to tighten everything up now and again.

As good as any competitor
Animale 01.08.2020
As good as similar K&M holders.
Very suitable and cheap solution for miking the underside of drums, or anything close to the hardware you mount this on.
You have to be careful with the piece of rubber functioning as a clamp, they are always a little fragile so you don't want this kind of clamp to slide down a stand due to too much weight.
You can even change a green ring with a black ring for cosmetic as well as recognition purposes.

Great clamps for a great price!
Sackrefied 19.02.2023
Been using these for around 10 shows now and I'm in love. The perfect solution to hide cymbal mics so they don't ruin the visual projections during live shows.
Sturdy, easy to handle and carry. Also love that they added black rings so they don't stand out as much on stage.

Super sturdy

This thing is crazy overbuild. It's ridiculous. And I love it :D Probably not that great in situations where space is limited but aside from that you can't go wrong with this one.

It works
AudioJS 25.09.2024
Using it for a few years now.
Plastic hasn't change properties (it isn't sticky) what was my main concern.
It's nice, useful and durable.
I use it on my main mic stand for when acoustic guitar player comes to make info recording, then I put sdc mic on this holder.
