These quick connects are great for the price and I will keep them for studio use. I originally bought for location sound and field recording to swap different mic arrays between different tripods/boom poles, but when the mic rocks from side to side, there is a bit of play in the quick connect that makes noise. I would recommend for studio or live use but not boom pole use or anything else that will be moving. They are also a bit too large for small tripod applications.
