This adapter was just what I a needed for a long time and I am very happy that I finally found this product, of which I immediately ordered 2 pieces.
The build-quality is very good and the price is fair.
It helps me to deal with at least 3 of the following situations:
Miking a grand piano with Manfrotto Super Clamps or Mini Clamps. When using this clamps to attach microphones on the edge of or completely inside on the metal frame, you would miss a way to freely angle the microphones without these adapters.
Miking an upright piano with a X-Y bar in a stereo configuration. The adapter is attached between the end of the boom of a normal or overheard mic stand and the stand can be placed either on one side or at the back of the piano. This way you can always correctly align the bar.
Positioning of a Zoom recorder or any other microphone that have limited or no angle settings on a mic stand. Mind that for the Zoom you will need an adapter to go from 3/8" to 1/4".
Update: I noticed after first using both units at the same time that one of the units is faulty. There is an area, where both mounting points are aligned in a straight line, that the adapter keeps being loose after completely fastening with the knob. This means that one of the two units that I purchased is useless.
Because this is with one out of two and fastening is the major function of these fairly simple adapters, I consider this as poor quality. This degrades my number of stars from 5 to 2.

Does not stay in place
Thomas dB 13.09.2020
Does not hold the clamp very well. Microphone ends up falling most of the time. Using with the Rode boom arm, but mostly useless in my current studio setup.
