I decided to buy a gig bag for my Gretsch G2420 as it would save save space and be just as portable. Unfortunately it opens full length along one side and I have to lie it down to take the guitar. Also the side padding needs to be adjusted each time and is very "floppy". I would have preferred a bottom opening so as to fit over the head of the guitar. The front carrying handle is rather superfluous and the zipped front compartment would take a lead and spare strings but I don't use it. I bought a Gretsch bag thinking it would be best but I could probably have bought a stock bag for less money. Rather disappointed but at least it has the Gretsch name on the front!

Well, I purchased this one because I didn't want to spend a big amount of money for a Gretsch hard case, for my Gretsch semi-hollow. This gigbag does the job HOWEVER it's quite thin and on the outer pocket has only one zip which doesn't make it that practical. Since it carries the Gretsch name my expectations were higher.
