Generell macht der Steg einen großen klanglichen Fortschritt im Vergleich zum billigen Steg, der auf der Hora-Mandoline darauf war. Der Steg wäre mir lieber, wenn er noch ein paar Millimeter höher gewesen wäre. Dann könnte man ggf. beliebig viel Holz abschleifen, bis die gewünschte Höhe erreicht wird. So ist der Steg mir minimal zu niedrig für die G-Saite auf dem Thomann-Hora portugieschen Mandoline (2. Version).
