Hal Leonard Ukulele Method Book 1 is a great buy for a beginner ukulele player, especially if you're interested in learning to play easy tunes with your ukulele. I ordered the Ukulele Method Book 1 with the Kala Makala Dolphin CAR ukulele. It was helpful in learning the basics of ukulele, but I had really hoped that it would have covered more advanced things too. Half the book was full of super easy kids songs that don't even use chords, and I had really hoped to learn more about chords and strumming. I bought this book hoping I could learn to accompany myself rather than play easy tunes, and I was a little disappointed in the contents of the book.

Nice for starting with Ukulele
Anonymous 02.02.2017
We bought this book together with our Ukulele. It is easy to follow and will teach the basics of playing Ukulele. Far easier than playing guitar.
It is not going much further as beginner. But that is as expected.
Unfortunately there was an error. Please try again later.
