Those pack a punch
Karsten aus C. 22.02.2015
but let me start with a word of warning. These strings are extremely hard. If you tune down to D-d' you end up in the range of hard'ish strings, if you stay at E-e' you will put some stress on to lightly built Flamencas.

Not, that the pull of the Hannabach SHT will damage a regular nylon strung guitar, but the high tension of the string can make it a bit harder to actually create the sound you are looking for. Some say, they pack a real punch and they lack the definition for softer music, but this is not true. You have to adjust to those strings and if you do, you will find them very responsive and capable of producing a dynamic range that you thought was impossible.

It comes with a price, though. Tuned E-e' I find that the Hannabach SHT do not last as long as regular high tension strings. Given the dynamics that they can produce, this is a small price to pay.

Tuned down two steps to D-d' they last for a longer time than any other string I've tried and still they deliver a more than capable dynamic range.

The Hannabach SHT are my favorite strings and I always returned to them, there are no substitutes.
