Ok, but there were different problems
DmA 05.09.2020
A good tool for your money. There were problems with the potentiometer (eliminated at my own expense), uneven frets, defects in wood processing. The main problem is the false 3 strings, giving out a kind of vibrato. Support refused to decide this. By offering only a refund on terms where I am losing money anyway . I leave the guitar, because the instrument is now needed and I spent a lot of money on shipping, taxes, currency conversion and repairs from the master (about 50%, hello to buyers from Russia). But if you are choosing between a $ 1000 guitar and this one, of course the choice is obvious, but not bad for its price.

FLAWLESS GUITAR & FLAWLESS SERVICE
Axepete 08.11.2020
The Fusion-T HH EB OCT is my 4th Harley Benton Guitar and the most impressive to date. All the guitars, however, have been wonderful purchases and are amongst my favourite instruments in my collection. The service from Thomann was, as always, exceptional, the guitar arriving at my door, in Nottinghamshire UK, in 4 days from Germany. It arrived in a box which had zero marks on it, so very well done to UPS. I was amazed when I unboxed it to find a completely flawless guitar which was, incredibly, bang in tune ( after such a long journey ! ) The action and intonation were perfect and upon close inspection the guitar is of as high a quality as any of the instruments I own ( including some expensive guitars ) I plugged it into my Bugera V22 Infinium amp and the tones from the Roswell pickups are delightful. Crystal clear. The volume and tone control working like a dream. The option of coil splitting makes this guitar remarkably versatile in its sonic capabilities. The Wilkinson trem is another excellent appointment, no problems with tuning stability ( the locking tuners and the graph tech tusq nut are quality and most likely contribute to this ) The ebony board and stainless steel frets on a beautiful maple neck make for a gorgeous playing experience. Anyone thinking of buying one of these guitars, from my experience, I would say do not hesitate, it is by far the very best £269 I have ever spent. Thank you to all at Thomann for the amazing quality of this guitar.

LM
LP in telecaster body
Ljuti Macak 14.09.2022
I played guitar for almost 30 years now, and i had many cheap and expensive gear through that time. I am not guitar hero by any means but i manage. Always been a Les paul/humbucker fun, but ocassionally felt in love with telecasters.

Features
Great specs for guitar within this price range. Every part specified works very well, neck is little bigger in my hands than i expected, but feel very natural. Given the humbackers and tremolo this is tele only by design, but it feels like a tele under the hands. Split coil is great option but i am not fun of the pull pots, i ll rather have switch or push push knob.

Sound
This is not tipical sound for telecaster. It is solid humbucker tone, very dark, but in a good way. That tone will not be for everyone, because it sounds like yout tone pot is on a half way. I really like that tone, it is somewhat comparable with my 1990 Gibson LP studio. Clean sounds are good, especially on neck split coil position. Cleans very vell on the volume pot. With marshall/Tube screamer combination this guitar really shines, od/dist sounds are very good but dark, creamy sounding. This could be a potential problem in band situation, you might want to add additional treble freq with amp/pedals eq.
Split coils sound are lacking in volume, and only sounds good at neck position.

Quality
Last Hb guitar i have ordered, Lp Custom line, i returned because of quality issues. This one, which is actally cheaper, are really good instrument. I checked every detail, and found only one, barely noticable error in paint job. Paint, binding, hardware, neck joint, neck and body work are really good, especially for this price point. With tremolo use, it goes out of tune pretty quick, but with out of the box setup; professional setup, i assume, will solve that problem. Frets will need some minor polishing. Stock strings are actually pretty good.

Conclusion
This guitar is nothing like my expensive Gibsons / Schecters / Kramers in the terms of feel when playing. But it does sound very good (with that specific dark sound), and it is really quality bulit. I will have no problem going on stage with it (with eq in mind). I think this is the best relatively cheap guitar that i ever owned and its already earned its place at the wall with the others.

B
Much better than I expected
Brunkmann 15.02.2021
I was extremely excited to purchase one of Harley Benton's step up guitars. Lots of great things for 300 dollars. The Plus side includes:
-Beautiful finish, the guitar is gorgeous and so well put together.
-Flawless finish, great paint job, not orange peel, scratches, or missed spots.
-Pretty good sound, I believe it needs a setup as it is a bit muddy, plenty of punch , but a bit muddy for my test.
-Locking tuners, So far so good, they are holding their tuning, and I expect them to get better as they settle in the humid Miami air.
-Coil split, I love that, lots of great tones to be had.

Not so good:
-I had to adjust the neck as it had a decent case of neck bow. The positive is that the rod adjuster is very easy to use. It's a small piece of steel that fits in the truss rod at the bottom of the neck. Easy.
-The tone/coil-split knob was loose, I adjusted it, and tightened the knob with the enclosed hex key, but it still feels like it may be the entire apparatus, I hope the fix holds.
The action is too high and needs to be adjusted, of course, the Wilkinson tremolo is different than other setups and some instructions would be nice.
-intonation is way off (see above).
This was my fifth Harley Benton and it was the first time I have had enough problems to write about. I'm going to play it for a few days and see if it grabs me or is it one that might wind up being a lovely B stock in the Thomann warehouse.

Second thoughts,
I take back all I complained about this guitar. After playing it and comparing its tone to my other Harley Benton Humbuckers. I can say this baby is the best of the best. What a guitar for $300 USD. I have really had a chance to get acquainted with it and in a word it is FLAWLESS. Do yourself a favor and buy one, you will not regret it.

AR
Great guitar, just go ahead and try it
Alexander RU 02.08.2020
I'm not a pro, just a hobby guitarist on my third year of learning.
Got it over a month ago and waited to write a review.
I have HB GS mini mahogany and ST 57DG, both are great instruments for the money. Wanted to try a higher priced HB.
Decided to go with trem version as it seemed more versatile + coil splitting. And Wilkinson is a known brand. Guitar needed some wiping from factory dust, other than that can't find anything to complain about. Wiped dust inside trem and potentiometers cavity (the latter is covered in magnetic paint, and cover has foil on it). Fretwork is nice and solid, finish is even and spotless. There is one scuffed area behind the bridge which I can see only under direct sunlight, can be buffed out. And tone pushpull knob can stay in place when I pull on it, need to wedge it or get a knob with fixing screw.
Guitar is heavier than I expected - 4 kg, but not very bulky, sits great on my lap without any head dives. Couldn't determine slabs lines, must be 2-3 piece body, idk mine looks like a single piece.
Trem is working fine, no tuning issues, althougth bought a Graphtec string tree just in case.
Pickups gave me 9 something on multimeter, not really hot, but playable.
Overall very impressive guitar and looks magnificent, that metallic green. She is a looker )))

Thoman, you should update stock photos, because on the newer models pickup switch is positioned diagonally same as on Fusion II. The original switch position (on photos) was a turn off for some people. It would be nice for them to know that you've listened and updated the guitar. Great job!

For my Russian comrades: all my guitars were delivered by Russian Post, safe and sound. For fusion T I had to pay a customs fee though as it is over 200 euros.

JE
Excellent value for money !
Justin Elliott 09.03.2021
I've been wanting a twin humbucker tele with a trem for a while.
This is the first affordable tele with this spec I've seen, only other options were Tom Anderson or Suhr guitars that are thousands more.
Out of the box this guitar was virtually in tune, the frets are nicely levelled, smooth edges and a really nice comfortable neck. The quality of finish is way above what I paid for this axe. SS frets are unheard of at this price point. The real surprise were the pickups. I wasn't expecting much but was very impressed, especially with the high gain amp presets I've made with my Fractal FM3, clear, articulate and plenty of output. Usually OEM pickups are pretty mushy with distortion and usually a straight swap. No need IMO to get rid of these anytime soon. The only downside of this axe are the factory strings, not nice at all, they don't feel nice to play but nothing a set of D'Addario's won't sort out, a very minor point.
A note on the tremolo, the Wilkinson on this unit is excellent, stays nicely in tune but don't think this will give you floyd rose type action, this is a more subtle trem, I use it a lot for tremolo scoops and vibrato for clean chords, its perfect for that.
Overall, fantastic value, and hard not to consider pulling the trigger on another fusion pro when they become available (hmmm, maybe a reason they're never in stock!) Thankyou Thomann!

N
Best value guitar on Earth
Neuri 14.04.2020
This guitar is the best guitar I have ever played. It is up to the same standard as my friends fender custom shop and combined with a mosky golden horse pedal to add sparkle to the pickups I have a £3000 sounding guitar for under £300. I cannot stress enough how beautiful this guitar is. The paint is perfect and the stainless steel frets and Wilkinson hardware is the same as on a suhr guitar.. I literally cannot understand how this is possible in this price range. Do yourself a massive favour and add this guitar to your collection. Hats off and loads of respect to Thomann for this gargantuan effort in bringing professional level instruments to the masses.

BUY THIS GUITAR BEFORE ITS GONE!!!!
AdamG 03.06.2021
after having the non tremolo version (in black),
i have decided to buy the tremolo verseion.
was waiting for it nearly 4 months for it to be in stock.
what a sweet moment was it when it got here few days now
out of the box, no Blemishes what so ever,
i was very happy to know that the HB people listens to peoples opinions and whilst last year the tremolo back plastic cover was not counter sunk, (nothing Major) the HB people took that under consideration and now it is countersunk. i wish BIG NAMES would listen to the people in the same way.....FENDER Slogan was " by the people, for the people"
ok, like most HB Guitars (weather changes???) the beautiful Ebony Fret board was very Dry,nothing that a good bath of Lemon oil could not sort out. truss rod was spot on.
i always have my action higher than normal (about2 MM in the 12th fret) so had to adjust the sadles just to find to my surprise that unlike Normal sadles they are double locked for extra security... now that is a beauty!!
so....
Ebony fret board
locking tuners,staggered
bespoke wheel truss rod adjustment at the bottom of the neck
stailess steel frets
split coil on the tone knob
a lockable tremolo arm

with these kind of specks, for 298 euros,, NO OTHER guitar(that iKnow wbout) maker HAVE those specs.

if it would have been an american Guitar it would have been between 2-·3000 euros to my humble estimat.
pluged in to my tube and non tube Amps and this is the best experience i had, so good that i dont want to leave it.....
i have a Gibson 335 but its a different thing all together, i have a fender Stratocaster , strat plus from 1991 with a Lace sensors pickups and it comes very close to this guitar but they are single pickups.

i believe that this guitar will become a modern classic(as quoted by a musician friend of mine) , it wont be long before this guitar will have an Endorsee......

my Advice- BUY IT...and BUY IT NOW.

Di
Almost Famous
Disappointed in LA 11.09.2020
I received my guitar two days ago and immediately began setting it up, adjusted the truss rod, changed strings, lowered the action - all the way down, and still I could not get it down to a reasonable level like my other guitars. I can't lower it any more. It plays fine up to the 12th - 22 frets, then it's just too high. The guitar is good quality for the price, but you can find a good Ibanez or Schecter for the same price and buy one locally used (I'm in Los Angeles). Communicating with Thomann is not easy and they never replied to my inquiry about this issue. Without good action all up and down the fretboard, the guitar is not useful to me. I have an Ibanez AWD83T for which I paid $350 that is much better. I was very hopeful that this was going to be a great bargain, I was wrong. And now if I want to return it to Thomann in Germany, I will have to pay for the shipping. I say no. There are many guitars for similar prices or just a few dollars more that are as good or better than this one. Even Fender Squiers are every bit as good. Careful with your money.
