I’ve had my Fusion-T for some time now.
It was my first HB guitar, so my expectations were tempered with a smidge of apprehension as to what I’d actually be getting for my hard earned.
My feelings are overwhelmingly positive.
Yes, it’s a heavy beast (much, much heavier than my SC-550 II Gotoh that arrived yesterday), but my gigging days are long behind me, and nowadays I mostly play whilst sitting down, so it’s not a problem.
It looks great. The finish is perfect, though the mirror black doesn’t react kindly to finger marks.
The neck is a tiny bit chunkier than ideal. I have large hands, but suffer from arthritis in my fingers. Finding a neck that works for me can be lottery. I have guitars with (apparently) similar neck profiles that feel very different. That said, the neck is beautiful, and feels gorgeously tactile.
It’s a joy to play.
The locking tuners seem to do their job as intended. It’s a sharp-looking guitar that, for the money, is a real bargain.
Us lefties often get a raw deal when it comes to choice, but HB have a very decent range of options.
