Dented my guitar's neck.

I bought this capo as an impulse buy because of the cheap price and good specs. The spring is very strong but I assumed that there should be no problem. Tried it on my 4th fret for a couple of minutes and on removal there is now a dent in my guitar's neck that I can feel with my hand. So I'm not only disappointed with the capo, I'm annoyed that my guitar's neck has been damaged. This is going in the bin.
